Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has resigned after close to a decade in power, and Neil Mitchell did not hold back in his assessment of the Labor leader’s tenure.

Overseeing some of the strictest COVID lockdown laws in the world but still deemed highly electable, 3AW’s Mitchell says Andrews’ legacy will not be one reminisced on fondly.

“He mocked NSW for being too soft on COVID – we had more deaths in Victoria! I mean his hard line did not work as well as he pretended it did!”, a fired-up Mitchell told Deb Knight.
