Ongoing meetings between the Rugby League Players Association and the NRL are reportedly moving forward for female players, after a “positive” meeting today.

Sydney Morning Herald reporter Michael Chammas revealed he had been told the meeting was the “most positive” they’ve had in months, and it’s expected a resolution is just days away.

But he said it remains to be seen as to whether the stoush between the two parties for male players will reach a resolution before the start of the season.
