‘National disgrace’: Jim Wilson says aged care facilities are failing the elderly

Clinton Maynard

A new report showing staff shortages, neglect and dirty conditions in the aged care sector has angered Jim Wilson.

“This is simply unacceptable and these operators and facilities need to be named and shamed,” Jim said.

The shocking report details ailing aged care homes across the state letting residents suffer in pain.

Jim says the neglect and lack of care for residents is disgusting and change must happen.

“It’s a national disgrace. The new government says aged care is one of its key priorities, well we need action.”
