Aussie actress Nadine Garner will bring to stage the story of Australia’s first female talkback broadcaster.

Garner will play Anne Deveson AO, the former 2GB presenter, in a stage show at the Belvoir.

The play follows Deveson’s memoir 1991 Tell Me I’m Here.

Garner told Deborah Knight the memoir follows a family’s story of living with schizophrenia.

“The organisation SANE, we’re working closely with those people, and they’re desperate for this story to be told.”
