‘Multi-agency response’ – Excavator plunges 80 metres down cliff near Wollongong

An excavator has plunged more than 60 metres down a cliff face in Otford near Wollongong this afternoon.
Fire Rescue NSW Andrew Bickle has told Clinton Maynard there is an ongoing multi-agency operation to rescue the driver.
“We’re just trying to very quickly get down to him to assess his condition,” he said.
