Western Sydney Independent MP Dai Le is contacting Anthony Albanese to extend the reduction of the fuel levy.

There is growing pressure on the federal government to do more to help residents deal with the growing cost of living.

The fuel levy is due to end in September and the MP stated Western Sydney is in the grips of a “cost of living emergency”.

Ms Le told Chris Smith, it’s a tangible way to help.

“With the excise coming to an end… I think it’s a great opportunity for the government to really look at how they can ease the cost of living,” she said.
