After 37 years, Chief Inspector Bill Pearce will step into retirement after a parade honouring his dedication to the force.

“That’s a lifetime and a bit more,” says Ray Hadley.

His colleagues at Mount Druitt Police Station, where Chief Inspector Pearce has served for the last 14 years, will shower him with a morning tea and a parade at 2pm to wish him well into retirement.

Cheif Inspector Pearce also worked with the NSW Police Rescue Squad saving many lives along the way.

“I’m sure that the Commissioner joins with me, and many others, in thanking Chief Inspector Bill Pearce for his many years of service and wishing him all the best in retirement.

“Thank you, Bill Pearce, for your years and years of service.”
