A mother is speaking out about the effects of gender transitioning on children.

Judith’s teenager began transitioning from a female to a male at the age of 17.

She told Ben Fordham her daughter, Sarah, had struggles with mental health at the time she undertook the change.

“She became estranged from us and lived out of home for three years … and then at the start of this year, she returned home in deep regret.

“There are so many young people who are being irreversibly harmed.”
