The highest-earning public servant has been revealed.

Senator Dave Sharma has told Michael McLaren it’s more than what the Prime Minister is being paid.

“As far as I’m aware, it was just a straight appointment. There was no competitive tender process, no recruitment, just an appointment,” he said.
