Michael McLaren has questioned Australia’s “moral obligation” to act on climate change.
He argues that while Australians are told they are one of the highest per-capita emitters in the world, the truth is that our contribution to the global narrative is minimal, and that any attempt to decarbonise the economy will come at a huge cost to the Australian people.
