The rumours about Jarome Luai’s future at the PNG Chiefs have been confirmed.

Sydney Morning Herald chief Rugby League reporter Adrian Proszenko says the Chiefs’ ambition is now clear.

“It’s obviously a crushing blow for the Tigers … Ostensibly, Luai, he triggers his option for next year,” he said.

“He’s gone on a tour … and he’s liked what he’s seen, you can’t begrudge him, he hasn’t done anything wrong,” he added.
