Moorebank High School is installing fingerprint scanners outside school toilets.

The decision is to stamp out vandalism and graffiti so the school can keep track of who goes in and out of the toilets.

There are a lot of mixed opinions with some parents who are all for it and others are worried about privacy.

Moorebank High School parent Julia Scutella told Jim Wilson that fingerprint technology could be a long-term solution.

“It’s something to try.”
