Aussies are being urged to be vigilant for a variety of different online scams in the wake of the recent flood disaster.

Cybercriminals are taking advantage of the community’s goodwill by setting up faking charities or doing unethical repair work.

NSW Minister for Fair Trading Eleni Petinos told Jim Wilson, “We have seen this before”.

“They badger people into accepting a quote.”
