The Customer Service Minister is eyeing a plan to use garbage trucks to monitor for potholes.

Roads riddled with potholes have intensified as rain continues to hammer the state.

Moreton Bay council introduced the pothole technology in 2020.

Customer Service Minister Victor Dominello told Deborah Knight putting a sensor underneath garbage trucks to identify potholes is a smart solution.

“There are a number of other jurisdictions around the world that are doing it.”
