Employee Relations Minister Damien Tudehope has revealed the government has given the rail union an approved deed aimed at ending industrial action.

Minister Tudehope told Jim Wilson they are very close to a resolution in the ongoing battle between the RTBU and the State Government.

Mr Tudehope stated the enterprise agreement is continuing to be negotiated and the deed concerning the safety of the intercity fleet is ready to go, all that needs to be done, is to get it signed.

Tomorrow’s train strike is still planned to go ahead.
