Clinton Maynard has been left appalled after Chris Bowen’s department charged taxpayers $3 million for travel in a six-month timespan in a bid to host COP31.

However, the Sydney Now host says the spending doesn’t stop there, with the latest federal budget dedicating $150 million to Bowen’s role as president of negotiations.

‘Chris Bowen is going to us all apparently, but it’s going to cost us,” he said.
