Former Moree Mayor Katrina Humphries is demanding answers following a continued food shortage in the northern NSW town.

The local Woolworths has not had stock of staples like full cream milk or minced meat for several days.

“This is milk, we need it for our children, it doesn’t come from overseas!” Ms Humphries told Jim Wilson.

After numerous unsuccessful attempts to contact the supermarket, the former Mayor is still looking for answers.

“This is ridiculous … We’re at the end of the line and nobody gives a stuff,” she said.

Woolworths failed to respond to questions before the deadline when this story was aired however has since told Drive there are supply shortages and late deliveries.
