Michael McLaren has warned Australians will start to tune out warnings regarding Australia’s future due to rising temperatures.

He says while he can’t speak to the “veracity” of the claims, he does suspect there is some sensationalism.

He also says it’s staggering how many political careers have been ruined by the “climate wars” and urged for civil debate to return.

“Think about it, Kevin Rudd, Julia Gillard, Tony Abbott, Malcolm Turnbull, perhaps even John Howard,” he said.
