The Albanese Government has announced that there will be sexuality and gender questions on the 2026 census following pressure from their own backbench.

Michael McLaren had his say on the numerous backflips made by the Government in relation to the questions in the census.

“It seems more political than statistical to me,” McLaren said on 2GB Afternoons.
