German far-right political party, the AfD became the first far-right party to win a vote in state parliament since World War Two.

Michael McLaren believes this result in Europe is a huge wake-up call for political parties in Australia and around the world.

“With the general election due in around a year, the alarm bells should be ringing louder then ever before,” McLaren said on 2GB Afternoons.
