A charity raising money for drought-affected farmers has seen an overwhelming amount of support for rural Australia.

Rural Aid was founded in 2015 and experienced great success with their Buy a Bale campaign.

CEO Charles Alder tells Ben Fordham they have raised a large amount of money.

“Over the last 12 months particularly, Australia’s just gone off in terms of drought support.

“We’ve raised and spent over $30 million… it’s been a meteoric rise over the last 12 months. “
