Residents of Balgowlah are being forced out of their homes and Member for Mackellar Jason Falinski has taken action.

The compulsory land acquisition of homes to build the Beaches Link has forced residents out of their homes.

Most residents aren’t against the Beaches Link tunnel however the money offered to take the homes is below market value, and there’s doubt the project will even go ahead.

Phillipa Cave’s parents’ house was in the process of being acquired and Jason Falinski has put the family in touch with a land valuer and lawyers to treat them fairly.

Mr Falinski told Jim Wilson it’s unfair with no clear dates set.

“We have run out of boring machines in Australia at the moment.”
