Cost of living is the number one concern among Australians, with Sydney residents flagging traffic congestion as the city’s biggest concern.

A report shows there are significant changes in the way people are concerned about their future living in capital cities.

Forseechange interviewed close 1,000 people on how concerned they think they’ll be on a number of certain issues in the future.

Cost of living was the number one standout among those who completed the survey.

“That’s a function of both the costs of things like electricity and petrol… and also the very low wages growth,” says Director Charlie Nelson.

He tells Ross Greenwood the second concern was the security of personal information.

Traffic congestion came in fourth overall but was the biggest future concern in both Sydney and Melbourne.
