Michael McLaren has used the death of Charlie Kirk as a moment for reflection, stating that “even though we may disagree with the ideas and politics of others, we should never lose sight of their humanity”.

He argues that in a highly polarised world, it’s a valuable reminder to approach all people with respect, regardless of their political views.
