Michael McLaren says it’s becoming clear young Australians aged between 24 and 35 want immediate change, with senior Liberal MP Andrew Hastie emerging as an unlikely voice for them. 

The Afternoons host says it’s clear there’s an emerging trend based on Australians seeking change, pointing out the shift in voting trends with the major parties having less than 50 per cent of the primary vote.

The architects of Australia’s current economic system, the two major parties, labor and the Coalition, are polling their lowest primary votes in history,” he said.
