Mascot Towers businesses told to stay open despite eviction warning

Business within the Mascot Towers have been told they can stay open after structural defects were found in the facade of the building.

A legal letter, sent seven days ago, warned: “from December 18 your lot will no longer be accessible.”

Co-owner of Mascot IGA Xpress, Ward Mellick, told Chris Smith they were told yesterday they can stay until January.
