Queensland Maroons Coach Billy Slater is feeling confident ahead of State of Origin Game 2, despite forced changes.

The two changes were forced by injury to Xavier Coates and Reuben Cotter respectively.

Slater told Mark Levy the team is looking to “build forward” after Game 1.
