Mark Speakman discusses new evidence in Folbigg pardon

NSW Opposition Leader, Mark Speakman, spoke about the new evidence that raised reasonable doubt about Kathleen Folbigg’s guilt.
Speakman explained that this was the first time fresh evidence had been considered in Folbigg’s multiple appeals over the years.
The evidence presented was regarding a mutation that provided an explanation for the deaths of her two daughters.
“There was an overwhelming case to order a new inquiry”, he said.
