Mark Levy slams NSW government’s decision to dump Shane Fitzsimmons
The decision to scrap a disaster management agency is being branded as ‘poorly thought-out’.
Resilience NSW boss Shane Fitzsimmons has been officially dumped from the public service.
Mark Levy says the NSW government should never have allowed ‘one of the most respected public servants in the state’ to walk away from service.
“I’ve never seen leadership quite like it, in the most trying of circumstances.
“Shane Fitzsimmons has been made the scapegoat for the disaster agency from the start.”
