Mark Butler took aim at the scare campaigns and fear-mongering from the Coalition and the Pharmacy Guild amidst the 60-day dispensing policy discussion.

The new policy is intended to ease congestion for GPs and make life easier for Aussies doing it tough, and has successfully passed Parliament despite a scare campaign.

“I was very angry about it and I hope it hasn’t frightened too many older Australians and their families”, Butler told Chris O’Keefe as he confirmed Webster packaging was not under threat as a result of this policy.
