Man charged with murder after woman’s body found in bathtub

A 20-year-old man has been charged with murder after a woman’s body was found in a bathtub filled with acid in North Parramatta.

Officers found the 19-year-old’s body in a unit on Pennant Hills Road on Sunday afternoon.

Her partner has been charged with murder after handing himself into police.

He’s been refused bail and will appear in court today.

NSW Police Superintendent Julie Boon told Ben Fordham the discovery was very “confronting”.
