A second person has been charged after a teenage girl was allegedly detained and assaulted in Sydney’s west.

Earlier this month, a 24-year-old woman was charged for her alleged role in the detaining of a 14-year-old girl who was allegedly assaulted and supplied drugs by a man and woman known to her for several hours.

On Tuesday, a 39-year-old man was arrested following a vehicle stop in Ryde.

He’s been refused bail and will appear in court today.

Investigations are continuing and further arrests are expected.
