A man will face court, charged with the murder of a man who was stabbed in a unit at North Bondi.

Emergency services were called to the unit on Military Road at North Bondi around about 12.30am Sunday.

They found a 26-year-old man with severe wounds to his head and abdomen. He underwent emergency surgery but he couldn’t be saved and died in hospital.

He was attacked after another man entered the unit and confronted him.

A 27-year-old man was taken to hospital under police guard and has since been charged with murder.

He’ll face court today.

Police say he’s known to the victim.
