Man arrested over alleged failed murder plot of Ibrahem Hamze
A 28-year-old Epping man has been arrested over his alleged role in the conspiracy to murder a senior member of the Hamzy crime family.
The man was this morning taken to Ryde Police Station and will be charged later this morning.
Ibrahem Hamze, the younger brother of Bilal Hamze, is believed to have been the target of two masked gunmen in North Sydney last year.
The plot was allegedly foiled when patrolling police identified their car as stolen.
