Dan Tehan is “twisting the arm” and placing urgency on the Minister for Immigration Andrew Giles to “hurry up” and make a decision about the Green family.

A hard-working Scottish family is still fighting to not be deported.

In, 2012 Mark Green and his family moved to Australia on a working visa after he was head-hunted by an Adelaide solar company.

Mark could become a permanent resident after three years but before that time was up, the company who brought him over went broke.

Subsequently, this happened seven times to Mark as he tried to secure more work.

The family managed to secure an extension visa but their future is still uncertain.

“So at this stage, the Greens are being pushed out and the ISIS brides are being brought in!” Ben said.

Shadow Immigration Minister Dan Tehan told Ben Fordham the one thing the family wants for Christmas is to “get rid of the uncertainty”.
