New measures coming into effect today at Sydney International Airport are expected to improve traffic flow around the terminals.

The changes will see more spaces in the express pick-up zone and a new priority pick up.

The neighbouring Blue Emu carpark will now also offer one-hour free parking, meaning drivers picking up can wait in the carpark before moving to the 15-minute pick-up zone.

Ben Fordham speaks with Craig Norton, General Manager of Landslide Operations and Transport for Sydney Airport.

“We’ve been working hard for the last few just years on improving the roads inside the terminal precincts, trying to get them to a state that is able to manage the traffic flows in and out.”
