Luke Grant criticises PM for long-term flood mitigation response
Luke Grant has argued against the Prime Minister’s response to a question on long term flood mitigation.
In a press conference yesterday, Anthony Albanese was questioned as to what the government are doing for long-term flood mitigation.
The Prime Minister responded that Labor’s dedication to renewables and emissions reduction is a long term plan to avoid these disasters.
Luke Grant said “it floods, people get sadly swept away … and we fix them up, and what do we do? Nothing.
“Not higher dam walls, not better storage management … it’s all about the politics of energy.”
