Luke Grant labels Labor Party ‘hopeless’ amid 24/7 aged care announcement

Luke Grant

Luke Grant has slammed the Labor Party and Mark Dreyfus for causing confusion amid the announcement of planned 24/7 aged care.

Shadow Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus told the ABC on Monday evening, that the 24/7 nursing requirement could be ‘paused’ if a Labor government failed to grow the workforce in time.

Luke said, “We’ve got an Opposition making grand pledges to deliver those exact same recommendations, ahead of schedule, without any proper costing, and without a definitive answer as to whether Australia has enough nurses to back it up”.

“They don’t even know what they’re running on.”
