This 18-month-old baby was beaten senseless and left with a fractured skull in Bankstown Saturday evening.

In the photo below, you see him lying in a hospital bed with red and purple bruises all down the side of his face.

Out of his left ear, you can see blood, which may be a result of bleeding from the brain.

What you can’t see in this photo are the boy’s internal injuries; the tear in his gum, his broken ribs and his dislocated spinal discs.

Police allege he was bashed by a 20-year-old man, who has since been charged.
