WA resident Jane Usher is finally able to return to Australia after being stuck in Singapore.

However she is not allowed to return home to Western Australia to see her father who is unwell due to border closures.

Jane told Jim Wilson she was frustrated with the WA government.

“My original flight home was to Perth … I booked it in March this year, I spoke to Singapore airlines it was confirmed, I was part of the cap numbers and literally three weeks ago I was told it was cancelled,” she said.

“The message to Singapore airlines was there are no flights going into Perth and that is due to the government.

“I have tried twice to get an exemption to get back into WA and I have been declined.

“Mark McGowan is keeping families apart.

“What Mum was desperately hanging onto was that I will be home for Christmas and we are just thinking it is becoming more and more unlikely.”
