Local hospital overturns bizarre $25 staff parking thanks to 2GB listener!

Chris O'Keefe

The RPA has withdrawn the policy in a strike to balance with nurses after a 2GB listener revealed a $25 daily parking fee for staff.

Nurses will be able to park for free until a new policy is in place.

A 2GB listener revealed outrageous parking prices set for staff at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney.

Cheryl’s daughter-in-law who is a nurse at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital was told this Monday that staff need to pay $25 a day for parking.

The RPA nurse has been on a parking spot waitlist for the last 15 months.

As a mother-in-law, Cheryl is concerned and told Chris O’Keefe that her daughter-in-law loves her job and is ‘angry’.
