Foreign Minister & Minister for Women Marise Payne said Vladimir Putin can be trialled by the International Criminal Court.

The Minister is currently on her way to a NATO meeting in Brussels, Belgium and told Luke Grant, that Putin’s actions are acts of a war crime.

“We have offered two specialised Australian personal to assist the court with that investigation.”

“Under the court statute, political and military leaders and that includes clearly President Putin.”

“Australia is a clear and determined supporter of that.”

Ms Payne also mentioned how Emergency Action Alliance are helping in the Ukraine emergency appeal.

It is made up of 15 Australian-based member charities that use their reach and resources to save lives around the world.
