The Women’s World Cup is looking already like a huge success for Australia, and Football Australia are now talking about a 2034 World Cup bid.

Ex-Socceroo Robbie Slater, however, feels there’s no point until the country fixes the development pathways such as training centres.

Slater told Mark Levy “We’re about that far away.. galaxies and lightyears away” from even bridging the gap.
