‘Let’s get moving’: Parramatta Light Rail to be delayed until 2024
The opening date of the Parramatta Light Rail has been pushed back for two years.
A revised opening date for the light rail has been set to May 2024 due to supply, COVID-19 and flooding issues.
“Business owners who copped the brunt of restrictions are now copping even more delays to construction and the new light rail opening,” Jim said.
Executive Director of the Western Sydney Business Chamber David Borger told Jim Wilson the challenge is to now “get things moving”.
“We have to do everything we possibly can to make people come into Parramatta.”
