Chris Smith is calling on the government to hold the line and refrain from reintroducing restrictions amid a rise in COVID cases.

NSW residents are being encouraged to wear masks but it is no longer mandatory.

Meanwhile, the NSW Premier has urged people to focus on ICU numbers, rather than cases, as the state learns to live with the virus.

“There are a lot of experts out there saying we shouldn’t be continuing with our reopening,” Chris said.

“It’s time for us to take responsibility for our own health … We can do the right thing without legislation.

“Let’s be smart about this and take some personal responsibility.”
