Ben Fordham is calling for older Australians to be allowed to work without restrictions.

It’s widely considered that Australia is missing a huge opportunity by not doing all we can to get seniors who want to work, working.

Pensioners are being paid $300 a fortnight.

Ben isn’t a fan and is calling to allow the “grey army” to contribute.

“Let’s say someone is earning $25 an hour working in a cafe, they can only work 12 hours a fortnight, before the government starts taking the pension back, it’s ridiculous!” Ben said.

“The current rules are ridiculous, if older Australians want to work more, let them work!”
