‘Latrell doesn’t go out there to hurt anybody’: V’landys defends star player ahead of grudge match

ARLC Chairman Peter V’landys has defended Rabbitohs star Latrell Mitchell ahead of a grudge match.
Latrell Mitchell left Roosters centre Joey Manu with multiple facial fractures at last year’s grudge match.
Mitchell received a six-match suspension as a result.
Mr V’landys told Ben Fordham “I don’t think he did it intentionally”.
“He does play the game extremely physically.
“I don’t think there’s any way Latrell goes out there to hurt anybody.”
