The Sheffield Shield tournament continues tomorrow with NSW taking on Victoria at the SCG.

Left-arm seamer and “very capable” batsman Hayden Kerr is set to make his debut for the NSW Blues.

In a ringing endorsement for his teammate, bowler Chris Tremain praised Kerr’s Big Bash hard hits.

“I think you’ll see him in the middle order for our Sheffield Shield team.

“He’s an exceptional player, and … maybe a little late bloomer through opportunities given, but just a fantastic cricketer.”
