Meg Lanning joined the team in the commentary box and spoke to the team about the progression of Women’s Cricket in Australia.

The Australian Women’s Captain said she was excited to see what the future holds for female cricket worldwide.

“It has been a record breaking year for Women’s cricket”

“It is always evolving and changing, it is a great product to watch, and enjoyable to play in as well”

“We saw the World cup final fill out Lords, and over 30,000 people came to watch the Ashes matches”

The worlds best cricketer is currently injured after having shoulder surgery as a result wear and tear from all the throwing she has done over her career but says she isn’t far away from returning.

“I am hoping to return for the India series in early March”
