‘Lack of support’ – Liberal leadership contender pulls out of race
Western Australian MP Andrew Hastie has pulled out of the Liberal leadership race to replace current Opposition leader Sussan Ley as a leadership spill looms over the Party.
2GB Sydney Now host Clinton Maynard says the other likely contender, Angus Taylor, has not yet put his hand up.
In a statement, Hastie says those in the Liberal Party made it clear that he did not have their support.
